CREATIVE EFFECTS by FISHER PRICE

Device is the awesome Creative Effects camera from Fisher Price.
Subject is this a petrified eraser skull my sister brought me from Germany in the eighties.
Process is thermic paper instant photo printing.
The term "instant" here has to be taken as two to three long minutes waiting
for the paper to come out.To make that moment more fun, Fisher Price guys had the great idea to launch a sillly unbearable 8 bits mambo-type tune that I encourage you to either turn off or lower the volume cause it's gonna get on your nerves pretty easily.

Aim, shoot.Aim, shoot.Aim and shoot again...

The big problem with this sucker is the difficulty to center properly. It's a plasitc toy, not a Minolta.
Shooting a subject if you have a clear idea is soon gonna become a nightmare
as you'll have to correct the aiming by yourself .
So if you notice the subject is too far on the right corner when you swear it was in the center,
then shoot higher and more to the right even if the subject seems totally out of frame.
It's gonna be even harder to center if you shoot macro.
However, "chance operation" can be on your side with this kind of toys (such as PXL2000) and good results can occur in term of composition and contrast.
The brightness can vary significantly if the light slightly changes.
The senser is hell sensitive so just keep on trying and trying.
Keep in mind it still is a photographic device so you'll have to grasp firmely on the thing when pressing the pink button without shaking as long as the beep goes.

Once again (after the PXL experience) Fisher Price just like like the Pied Pipper, takes the kids into an unexpected obscure-goth-experimental photographic expressionism excursion.
